Multimedia Editor

Condé Nast is seeking a creative and professional Multimedia Editor for one of its iconic men's magazine brands.  The Multimedia Editor is responsible for producing all editorial content for the magazine's website as well as other electronic content, such as videos. We're looking for an Editor first, Producer second; but the ideal candidate will be comfortable in both of these roles.
 
Specific duties include:
  • Assigning, editing, writing and producing new content and repositioning magazine-based content for the web, as well as tablet editions
  • Acting as Quality Control lead for all iPad content
  • Managing web staff, freelancers and outside vendors
  • Developing ideas to market between the print issues and the website
  • Liaising with Consumer Marketing
  • Managing and tracking web traffic metrics
  • Budget Management
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of editorial experience with a national consumer publication
  • At least 2 years experience editing content for a web audience using an online content management system
  • Familiarity and experience producing multi-media editorial packages
  • An understanding of how to develop and enhance a brand online while communicating effectively to all those involved
