The Marketing Manager oversees/executes all marketing activities and strategies, presentations and research to secure new advertising accounts, maintain existing business and expand into new categories including on and off-line brand advertising, search marketing and other ROI marketing, subscription marketing, testing, analytics for the magazines brand.
The position is responsible for preparing and executing a marketing plan in conjunction with the Marketing Director and Executive Director, Marketing; creating category and account-specific presentations; analyzing /interpreting trend and syndicated research data; conducting major market and customized research studies; developing sales materials for the sales staff; strategizing with the sales staff to garner incremental and new business. The ideal candidate has:
- Three to five years of experience in a Marketing, Marketing analytics
- Great attention to detail and follow through
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong project management capability
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Team player
- Strong PowerPoint program proficiency
